GPRS (general packet radio service) is a global communications network used primarily by cellular devices such as mobile phones and PDAs. It can be a cost-effective way to install a Tucor system, too. Because the network is pre-existing, Tucor’s controllers only require a minimal monthly GPRS network service fee. Tucor’s controllers transmit data to nearby cell towers, and Tucor’s Cycle Manager software sends data to our server, which then transfers data back to the controllers.
